Clinical spectrum of COVID-19 vary drastically among patients. As of October 2021, the COVID-19 outbreak is on the rise, affecting about 243 million people and causing 4.9 million deaths worldwide. Later, this novel clinical entity was named as COVID-19, and the virus was named Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) due to its close similarity to SARS CoV. On January 7, 2020, the agent was identified as a new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) not previously detected in humans.
